The Foundation operates through its 21-member board, consisting of 19 women lawyers who are elected for three-year terms, plus two women lawyers who are appointed by the Women’s Bar Foundation for two-year terms.The Foundation’s officers include a president, three vice presidents, a secretary, treasurer, and assistant treasurer. In addition, the Foundation has established an Honorary Council to honor individuals who have supported and promoted its goals. The Foundation has also established a Scholarship Recipients Council, comprised of former scholarship recipients, to act as liaisons with its past recipients.Council members are invited to board meetings and to participate in discussion but have no voting rights. 2008 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Officers Dixie Lee Peterson, President Carol A.
